Hosted by Prince William and designer Ralph Luaren the Windsor Castle Gala was a star studded affair, where celebrities and dignitaries alike attended the philanthropic event. In partnership with the Royal Marsden Hospital and the new Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research, this event was held to celebrate the life saving endeavors of the staff and raise funds to further cancer research. Unfortunately the Duchess of Cambridge could not attend because of maternity leave, but Hollywood royalty was in attendance, Emma Watson; Cate Blanchett; Zhang Ziyi; Sophie Turner were some of the starlets who came out for a good cause. Ralph Lauren provided most of the gowns worn by those who attended and the fashion trend was apparent, darker colour palette; simple silhouettes and clean lines were sported by most guests.
